We went to Birmingham today!!! Caden went to school this morning and Calder went with Cass to get free breakfast at Chick-fil-A and to get a haircut. They came back and picked me and Bates up, we stopped and picked up Caden and then headed to Birmingham for the day! Cass met some guys at Panera for lunch and the boys and I went to lunch at Johnny Rockets and walked around the Summit!

The big boys split a kids meal and they got a milkshake! Of course, they loved it! AND, I loved that they got a special treat!!! We had a buy one get one coupon!

The food arrived! They brought the boys french fries with their milkshake and between the three of them, they were gone in no time! The big burger was HUGE and Bates ate half! The kids meal came with two little burgers but they were still more than they could eat!
After lunch we walked next door to check out the new Babies R Us/Toys R Us! It is really nice! Calder spotted LOTS of Mickey stuff but had a fit over this bike! He wanted to get it right then and there! Precious!
SO proud of that bike! He rode it up and down the aisle's, smiling so big the whole time!
Then, he found a Mickey helmet with a Mickey bell!
Of course, he wanted to buy that, too!
And, Caden found a new helmet he wanted, too!
On our way out, guess what Calder found??? A Mickey umbrella! He wanted it for Disney but I said no :( He wanted Caden to get a Captain America one!
And Bates just rode around in the buggy in his carseat and smiled and laughed!
Then we drove to the other side to visit Anthropologie, Swoozies, Pottery Barn Kids (to play with toys) and walk outside for a while! We stopped at Urban Cookhouse to get some orange rolls for a snack! SO yummy!!!
We loaded up the car, drove a little more and Cass called for us to pick him up! We headed to Hobby Lobby (our last trip to the Birmingham store before ours re-opens), a quick visit to Favorite Laundry then we headed to Chuy's for dinner! We had a gift card and the boys LOVE to go there! Especially since they give Blue Bell Sherbet Push-Ups after dinner! Calder is obsessed with the creamy jalapeno and chips and I like the kids fajita chicken tacos! Cass will eat Mexican all day, every day so he is always happy to go there! We sat on the heated patio and had a great family dinner!
Both boys crashed on the way home. I had Cass drive me by Dollar Tree before we left Birmigham so I could pick up a few extra little happies for Disney World! They have a much larger selection there!
By the time we got home, everyone was ready for bed. Including us! Long but fun day in Birmingham!
Can't wait for our next visit!!!
