Day 5 at Disney World (February 6)

We were planning to eat at Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our last morning and after we realized that we were dragging in the mornings, we decided to move our reservation to the day before we left.  All they had left available was a 10:50 so we took that and decided we would go have brunch.

We woke up and decided to take the boys swimming!  The place we were staying had a great water slide and they had been looking forward to it!  We got them in their swimsuits and walked down to the pool.  They were SO excited to be able to swim in February, outside!
Walking to the pool!
Coronado Springs (where we were staying)
Calder!
Playing in the fountains! (I made Caden wear his floatie since we have not been swimming in a while)

Swimming!

Then he took it off and swam around for a while :)
Calder is always happy to just do whatever!
He took his floatie off to try to swim, too!

Unfortunately, they closed the slide that morning for repairs (I tend to always have that kind of luck) but it didn't even bother the boys!  They were just happy to be swimming!!!

We went back, took showers and got ready to head to breakfast!!!
The food at Chef Mickey was very good!  We were surprised at how much better it was than what we were expecting!  We took the boys through the line and let them choose everything they wanted!
Calder started off with a brownie with chocolate icing and sprinkles (can't say I blame him since he never has that option any other place!)
Bates was happy with fruit loops and anything else we let him try!
Mickey Waffle!
Our first visitor was Goofy!!!

Caden LOVES Goofy!
Bates is TERRIFIED of the characters up close!  Poor little guy :(
Then, he saw Mickey.  This was his excited face!  He was squealing and shaking he was so excited!
TOOOOO cute!  I wish I had a video to show how excited he was!
Big boys with Mickey Mouse!
Our family with Mickey!

Bates felt better where he could be rescued from the characters :)
They had all the kids swing their napkins in the air for a song and Caden LOVED it!
Calder joined in, too!
With Donald Duck!

Mommy and Caden!

Mommy and Minnie!
Love Calder's little hand on Pluto!

Caden is trying to do his mouth like Pluto!
So Calder tried, too!
Bates wasn't very excited about Pluto!

After breakfast, we rode the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.  We had not been on the train yet so we did that first.  It was a relaxing ride around...

Bates loved it!
Then we headed to the people mover!
Cass and MB
Mimi, Poppy, Caden and Bates
Caden and Calder
Sucking his fingers...his favorite!
Bates fell asleep on the people mover :)  Precious!
Excited little boys!!!
I love their little visors.  We found them at Walmart in Orlando the first night we were there and they were cuter than any of the other ones we found while we were there.  They wore them a lot of the trip!
Calder on Peter Pan with Mimi and Poppy!
Bates standing up on It's a Small World!  I'm sure he felt so big!
Mimi, Poppy, Cass and Caden rode Splash Mountain (Calder missed the height by 1/2 inch) and Mimi got soaked!  It was fun to watch and Caden loved it!
After the big splash!

Bates slept while they rode and woke up right when they got back to us!
We were leaving the park and ran into Peter Pan!!!  They LOVE Peter Pan!
He was very chatty.  Calder even told him about Jesus :)

Then, we headed to Epcot!  Since this was our last day, we decided to do three parks and hit some of our favorite spots!
Calder wanted his picture taken while we waited on Cass and Caden to get off test track!
Bates just loves life!
Trying out the cars in Test Track!
The boys, exhausted, leaving Epcot!

We headed over to Hollywood Studios to take advantage of their magic hours and eat dinner.  The boys really wanted pizza and we wanted a hamburger we had there on a different day.  It had onion petals on it and it was delicious!  We got there and split two meals (one for the kids and one for us).  Cass rode the Aerosmith ride and then we headed for Toy Story Mania!  This was our FAVORITE ride at Disney World!  Of course, even with the magic hours, there was a long wait (1 hour).  I think it was the only ride with a long wait the whole time we were there!  I cannot imagine how it is in the summer!  We rode a few times...

Waiting for our turn to ride!
Daddy and Bates!
Caden and Calder!
Caden ready to go!
Mommy and Caden

We had so much fun.  We decided we would let the boys stay up late since it was our last night and we were going to head to the Ghiradelli store for ice cream on our way back!  We decided to take Bates back to the room so he could go to bed and keep Caden and Calder out with us.  Well, Calder fell asleep on the bus on the way back to the Contemporary to get our car.  It was funny watching Cass carry him and a double stroller off the bus!  He stayed asleep in the car and until we got him to his bed!  He was exhausted!  Caden insisted that he would be going out with us for ice cream so while I went to lay the little ones down, he stayed in the car with Cass to wait on me.  When I got back to the car, he was out!  He just couldn't make it that long.  Cass took him up to the room then we headed to Downtown Disney.

We walked around a little then went to the Ghiradelli store and split a chocolate chip cookie dough waffle cone.  It was SO yummy!  Then, we went back and crashed!  A great way to end our trip!
