Day 2 at Disney World (February 3)

Our goal was to be one of the "first families" at the magic kingdom one day where you get to help them open the park.  Well, after day one, we decided that sleep was WAY more important.  AND, since we are on Central time at home and Disney is on Eastern time, it wasn't worth training the boys to get up an hour earlier when we got home :)  SO, we got to the park about an hour AFTER it opened instead of BEFORE it opened!

I decided to make breakfast bags for the boys each morning.  It was simply a white lunch bag with a Mickey head on it and I would surprise them with their breakfast.  They LOVED it and looked forward to it each morning.  I also snuck some Donald Duck juice and Buzz Lightyear and Woody juice in there to have with it which made them even more fun!

Day 2 Bates' pink eye was better, Caden did not have a fever but Calder had a YUCKY nose and did NOT feel well :(

We started out Day 2 at the Magic Kingdom.  The monorail wasn't working so we had to ride the boat over. They boys LOVED that, too!
On the boat checking everything out!

All 3 Boys right when we got into the park!  They wore their pirate shirts!
We found Buzz Lightyear!  He stamped their books :)  SO fun!

Caden with Buzz!
Our whole family with Buzz!
Calder with Chip n Dale!  He is STILL confused on their names!

This is about how close Bates likes to get...and NO touching!  He is happy as can be on the ground in front!
On the people mover!

Bates kept making this face every time we would get the camera out!
They wanted popsicles for a snack!

Poppy wanted one, too!
Time to see Donald Duck!

Then off to the Swiss Family Treehouse.  The boys were actually disappointed with this.  It wasn't what they were hoping for!
Cass got me making a silly face half way through the treehouse.  (note:  I don't like pictures of myself but if I am not in any, the boys will have no picture memories of me with them as children so I have to go for it!)
Poppy and Bates
What a little cutie pie!

Waiting in line for the Jungle Cruise!
Cass decided for a coke float for a snack!
Picking his nose...he thinks this is hilarious!
Daddy and Calder!
We were leaving the park and when we got to the front, the parade was starting and there was an open spot RIGHT where the characters come out!  Almost all of them came and shook the boys hands!  SO fun!
Watching the parade!

With Daisy!  Calder is taken with Daisy and Minnie.  He LOVES the girl characters!

One of my favorite pictures of the boys!

Giving a kiss!

Silly face, again!
It's....MICKEY!!!
One HAPPY little boy to see Mickey Mouse!

Bates was trying to figure out what was going on!

We spent that afternoon at Epcot and all of the characters were in a little attraction there where you can go through the line and see them all!  I think that was one of Calder's favorite things from the whole trip!

Caden rode Test Track while we were there and he LOVED it!  While he rode that with Cass and Poppy, Calder, Bates, Mimi and I went to look through the countries and then head to the Polynesian for dinner.  We  ate at O'hana and I made the reservation where we could sit by a window to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks at 8 when they started!
Waiting in the gift shop for our table to be ready!
Dancing like Goofy does to the hot dog song!
Calder fell asleep before we left Epcot and stayed asleep until we had to wake him up for dinner!  He was SOOOOO tired!
Dinner!!!  It was DELICIOUS!  If you haven't eaten at O'hana, I recommend it!  We thought it was great.  They serve you family style and start out with bread, dumplings, salad and noodles then keep bringing all you can eat meats around then top it off with a delicious bread pudding with ice cream!  We will definitely go there on our next trip!
Eating our salad.  Calder was not feeling well at all and layed in his chair most of the meal.  I felt so bad for him because he was missing out!
Bates, on the other hand, was the life of the party and enjoyed the ENTIRE meal!
The bread pudding! (this was for the whole table...not one person!)
Entertainment!
Coconut Broom races!  The kids were all able to participate and the boys LOVED pushing their coconuts around!

After dinner, Mimi and Poppy headed back to the room and the boys and I went exploring!  We got off at The Grand Floridian and went out on the beach!  It was SOOOO nice out there and it felt perfect outside!
Cass and Bates on the beach!
They LOVED playing in the sand!

Our family on the beach!
Bates does NOT like sand!  We went to Kiawah this past year where they have the hard packed sand so this was his first time in the sand and he was not impressed!
Snuggling with Mommy to stay away from the sand!
We let them walk around in the pool for a minute!
Surprises for day 2!  Glow sticks for the parade the next night, coloring pages and tattoos!
