Day 3 we slept a little late, too. Calder woke up still not feeling well. We ended up having to call his dr. to get him some medicine so he would not be totally miserable. I think it was just a really yucky sinus infection but he was NOT happy about it!
We got ready, grabbed the breakfast bags and then we were off to Hollywood Studios!!!
Breakfast!
We got there and rushed to Toy Story Mania. People had talked about how great it was so we wanted to see for ourselves! It was during magic hours so it wasn't very crowded at all but we still had a 30 minute wait for this ride!
Part of waiting to ride!
Cass, Caden and Calder ready to ride!
Our first ride, we rode with the boys. This was VERY competitive for me and Cass so we rode together the other times :)
Calder and Cass ready to go!
Caden rode with me!!
These little machines where you could pay 51 cents to get a penny with a design on it were a BIG hit with the boys! This was their first one!
After the ride, Mimi and Poppy went to do their own thing and we started exploring. We found Jake right away and that made two little boys very happy! The love watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates!
Then we headed over to watch a live thing of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! They were celebrating Minnie's Birthday! Calder, especially, LOVED it!
Then we headed over to play on the Honey, I Shrunk The Kids set! They had a blast climbing on everything and going down the slides!
Bates LOVED the slide! He went down it several times!
Then, we headed over to see the Muppets in 3D!
Bates ended up falling alseep while Cass was holding him during the movie!
We headed to lunch and found a great little place that had a hamburger with cheese and onion straws on it and it was delicious! The boys split chicken nuggets then we were off to explore some more!
We found some hula hoops and all of us took a turn trying them out!
Then we used our fast passes to ride buzz lightyear again!
AND, we saw the army men!
Then headed home for a nap.
But on our way out, the boys decided they wanted a snack so we stopped at a little bakery and they split a mickey cookie! We LOVED having free dining because you could just get whatever you wanted and not pay a penny!!
The boys were OUT!!!
After naps, we headed to dinner at the Hoop-dee-doo! We had to take a boat over to the Wilderness Campground!
Mimi and Poppy met us over there right when we sat down. They have all you can eat salad, corn bread, friend chicken, ribs, corn, mashed potatoes and strawberry shortcake! The boys had SO much fun there! We went to the 4:00 show and it wasn't crowded at all!
Caden and Calder kept joking around with her!
Swinging his napkin in the air!
Then, made it a bow tie!
They asked the big boys to come help them on stage. I was a little nervous they wouldn't cooperate but they did a GREAT job!!
They dressed them up!
And gave them certificates and pictures!
Then it was time to play the washboard!
On our way out, we found some ponies and a stable! They LOVED looking at them!
We rode a boat back to the contemporary to change a dinner reservation for another night, then met Mimi and Poppy at the Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks with their glow sticks!
Cass and the boys waiting on the fireworks!
Mommy and the boys!
I went to grab them another snack! They LOVED having cotton candy during the show!
After the fireworks, we sent Bates back on the bus with Mimi and Poppy so he could get his bath and get in bed. The big two boys stayed out with me and Cass until midnight! It was SOOOOO much fun keeping them out late...and very special to them!
Riding the people mover at night!
Then the carousel!
AND, Aladin's Magic Carpets
We rode Pirates of the Caribbean and then bought them little telescopes in the gift area! AND we rode several other rides, too.
Then, we decided to go to the Main Street Bakery and all four split a fresh homeade cookie ice cream sandwich! They chose sugar cookie on bottom, chocolate chip on top and it was DELICIOUS! AND, a great midnight snack and way to end our special night out with the boys!
AND, even though Calder didn't feel well, we got some medicine in him that afternoon and he was a trooper!
