Flowers

MB always loves to have fresh flowers in the house and loves the excuse to have them.  She was hosting a going away brunch for a friend and so we headed to get some flowers.

We typically go to The Plant Lady and get our plants and flowers whenever we are needing something.  One of the boys was sleeping when we got there, so MB ran in and this is how she returned.

When we got home we placed ALL the flowers in a cooler with water while we worked on them!  There were so many of them.  We were able to put together SO many vases full of flowers!

All of these were covered with leaves.  The Plant Lady told us to take ALL of the leaves off and use these in the middle of the arrangements.  It was time-consuming, but well worth the effort.  You can also dry these out and re-use them again.

Here is the pile of ALL of the leaves that we removed from the plants above.  There were so many leaves!  

 

 Here are a few pictures of the final products that are now around our house.  I must admit...it is really nice having these fresh flowers around the house!

MB is SO TALENTED!  She is such a great hostess and TRULY has the gift of hospitality!  Great job MB!
