Fun Filled Saturday!

We've had a fun-filled Saturday! We started the day off with a bike ride to the pool. Cass took Caden in the bike trailer with all the stuff and Calder sat in the seat on the back of my bike! There was actually a breeze and it felt great! We were the only ones at the pool for a while and it was very relaxing! Calder is our little fish. He was all over the pool all by himself (with his floatie thing). He is not about to get in a float...he is Mr. Independent in the pool! We love it! He jumps right in and swims around. Caden, on the other hand, pitched a fit because we tried to get him to jump in the pool. He has lots of fears and going under water is one of them! We're working on it every time we go but he is Mr. Safe and isn't going to try anything that may be risky! (kind of makes me feel a little more comfortable taking him places!)

Then, we came home, made English muffin pizzas, and the boys took naps! Cass cleaned out the garage and finally got the kayak hung in the garage (Poppy never used it so now we have it so we can use it!). I made the boys their shirts for their birthday party this week! I think they turned out cute! They love them so that's all that really matters to me!

I made Chicken Tetrazzini, steamed green beans and cheese biscuits for dinner! It was yummy and the boys LOVED it! I froze half so now we have a meal for another night (yay for Mommy!). After dinner, Cass and the boys cleaned off the back porch while I cleaned the kitchen then we all played outside. Now they are in the shower and about to head to bed! I love fun Saturdays! Cass is singing in the praise band in the morning (a rare thing since he never leaves the Preschool floor) and Caden is going to church with me to hear him! We're smoking a boston butt and some ribs and watching fireworks with neighbors tomorrow night and looking forward to a fun 4th! Hope you had a great Saturday, too!
