Calder Turns TWO!!!!

Calder is a JOY to have in our home and is so happy ALL the time! He's pretty much all smiles and he laughs at everything! I have a hard time seeing my little baby turn TWO but I know it's all part of growing up and I love watching him become more and more independent!

At 2, Calder is"

--talking ALL the time!!! He speaks very clearly and talks in sentences minus a few connecting words here and there (Caden wasn't even saying Mama or DaDa at this stage!)
--copies EVERYTHING that Caden does! He is Caden's little shadow and you can tell he looks up to him SO much!
--is a climber! (we had to take his cute dresser out of his room and replace it with the baby one because he was climbing over it and pulling the drawers out to make stairs to climb up!)
--does NOT like to get in trouble...his little bottom lip out and crying is pitiful and makes our hearts hurt...even Caden doesn't like to see him cry!
--he will sit in time out and not even try to get up! It's pretty funny!
--LOVES his lovies and has to have all 4 of them as much as possible! He puts them in the washer when he wants them washed!
--has a sweet, sweet heart
--thinks every statue we pass anywhere is Jesus!
--loves to sing songs and pray before bed. His prayers are PRECIOUS....and usually about food, toys or playing!
--eats ANYTHING and EVERYTHING (except Squash)...I keep trying on the squash but he just doesn't like it!
--LOVES his family...and is in a VERY big Mommy clingy phase which I LOVE! He tells all three of us that he loves us and it's so sweet to hear :)
--is a very special addition to our family!

At his 2 year check up he is 26 pounds, 34.25 inches tall and his head is 19.75 inches. He's in the 20th percentile for weight and 75th for height!

We are thankful for our precious gift from God and have LOVED the last two years and can't wait to watch him grow even more in the future!!!
