Calder's Birthday Celebration!!!

I try to make each boys birthday as special as possible (including Cass :) ). We had a party but on his real birthday we had a Thomas the Train party at home! I'm not a character fan but I let them do them for our at home parties! Caden had Toy Story and Calder chose Thomas. He LOVES trains! We made a quick trip to Atlanta and got back late the night before so I used a free cookie cake from Great American Cookie Company to get his cake! I was a little sad to not make it since I always do but it worked out great and he loved it! He is in LOVE with cookies and donuts (two things we don't have often) so he ate as much as he could on his big day!
Enjoying his cookie cake!

So proud of his cake and happy it's his birthday!

We had spaghetti for dinner because it's one of Calder's favorite things to eat! Caden loves it, too!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Calder!

Opening his gifts!

It was too hot and rainy to do anything we planned to do on Calder's birthday so we ended up improvising! Cass brought an inflatable home from the church and we blew it up in our den (yes, we are crazy) and they had a BLAST playing on it! In fact, that's where he's sitting to open his gifts!

Calder and Mommy playing in the inflatable!
Yes, that is in our den!
He woke up from his nap and fell asleep on Cass! SO sweet!
The boys had a picnic lunch in the den (they are usually not allowed to eat in the den!)
We got free cookie slices at the mall! They gave Caden one, too, even though it wasn't his birthday!
We had breakfast at Krispy Kreme and got a box of mini donuts. They are Calder's FAVORITE! They ate 4 each! We figured it was his birthday and a rare treat so why not! We also got a chocolate milk! Started the day off right!
We played with the train table at Barnes and Noble (they love to go there and play!)

Caden and Mommy at Barnes and Noble!
They LOVE to play together...and we love that!
Watching the donuts!

Check out that icing!

Do you think he liked it?

Our party table in the kitchen!

Caden stayed up late to help set it up! He was SO excited about it!
On our way home from Atlanta we stopped at Edgar's in B'ham and got cupcakes for a treat! Calder chose caramel with sprinkles and Caden chose chocolate with a frog!

Daddy got the puppy!

They have the cutest stuff...not always the best tasting, but definitely looks great!

We stopped at Chuy's in Birmingham for dinner on our way back. It was Calder's birthday eating out dinner and they brought him sopapillas for dessert! They were so soft and yummy...the best I've ever had! AND, they came with a bowl of honey to drizzle on them!
Happy about his birthday dessert!

Caden is excited, too!

They have a creamy jalapeno salsa that is YUMMY! Tastes more like ranch and we all four love it!

Before dinner we went to iJump in Birmingham and they had the best time jumping! They love the inflatables!
