Cass' college roommate, Joseph, and his wife, Sommer, are some of our closest friends. They live a long way from us so we are not able to get together very often. They asked us to join them on their beach trip this year and we went down for a few nights and had SO MUCH FUN! We want our children to be able to grow up knowing each other and this was a great way for them to spend time together and play!!! They rented a house in Seacrest Beach and it was beautiful there! The beach was so quiet and the kids had a blast playing! AND, it was nice for us to be able to catch up in person instead of on the phone :) Here are a few pictures from our first day!
Bates was not so sure about the sand at first. It took him a couple of days to adjust!

They grilled hamburgers and sweet potato fries for dinner then we all went out for ice cream!!! Caden was in a lot of pain with swimmers ear so he cried most of the night :( I felt so bad for him but Mrs. Sommer had some drops that made him all better!!!
