I have been working on finding my old recipe for the Smith Island 10 Layer cake and we have a sunday school potluck the first Sunday of each month so I tried a different recipe. Definitely better but still not it! The icing on this one was better, though! They are so much fun to make and I LOVE being in the kitchen so it's a few hours of stress relief for me!
It SNOWED!!!! It's a rare occasion when it snows in Alabama but we had a BEAUTIFUL snow! I sat in by bed with the blinds open and watched it for several hours that night. Amazed at the beautiful creation that snow is! Love that each flake is unique, yet beautiful, just like people! The boys LOVED it!!! Thankful for a FUN day to PLAY with all of my boys!!! (Cass included!)
