Caden's Birthday Trip - Day 1

We always love going to the mountains, and Caden really wanted to go for his birthday this year.  So we made the trip and filled it with so many wonderful things.

Our local Chick-fil-a is doing a contest with the CFA cow, and so he will be found in lots of pictures throughout our trip!  There are a couple of contests with it, but the winner receives free CFA Kids meals for a year.  We are hoping that we win...we love CFA!!!

Our first day we decided to do the character breakfast at Dollywood.  First up was Corduroy, the bear!  The boys really loved seeing the characters, but we were a little disappointed with it...the characters only come out one at a time.  So, you have to wait around a while just to see them.

Bates even liked seeing Corduroy!

And of course...the CFA cow is in the picture!!!

Next up was the Scarecrow!  

Before we left Strawberry Shortcake come to see them too!

IT was so warm outside that we decided to catch the Bubble show and stay inside.  Calder is trying to catch some of the bubbles before going in.

This is probably one of Calder's favorite things to do at Dollywood...drive the old cars.  Bates and Mimi joined him for this ride.

And, of course, the CFA cow to a drive too!

Dolly Parton even took some time to take pictures with the cow!  

The cow was so tired from all of its adventures...he had to take a break!

Caden wanted a Lego party, and so we celebrated a little in the mountains with these petit fours, from our favorite bakery in Cleveland, TN.

MB always makes the boys shirts for special occasions...this was Caden's birthday shirt!

Cass was SO excited to being going back to Dollywood!

Caden wanted to do the ropes course at Dollywood, and so MB and I took him.  He did an awesome job!
